The workshop teaches mindfulness strategies to promote acceptance and compassion towards ourselves and others.

Personality, defense mechanisms and our human tendancy towards avoiding pain through addictions and compulsive activity.

Building Healthy Tragic Events Teams (full or half day)

Tragic events or crisis response teams have a very tough job to do when responding to school or community tragedy. Developing good protocol, procedures and practice opportunities are critical, but the need for team building and counsellor self-care is another often neglected aspect of crisis intervention. This new workshop covers both the procedures and the practices that can help your team stay resilient and healthy in the face of difficult circumstances.
